泛指各国劳动节时，通称 Labour Day(在美国也写作 Labor Day)。以美国为例，他们的Labor Day在每年九月份的第一个星期一。与咱们的五一劳动节并不一样。

将5月1日设为“劳动节”的国家有哪些?

非常多。包括大多数亚洲国家、欧洲国家、非洲国家，以及几乎全部拉丁美洲国家。

在英国、爱尔兰、芬兰、波兰、哈萨克斯坦等国，5月1日虽不是“劳动节”，但也是公共假日。

在美国、加拿大、日本、新西兰、澳大利亚等国，“劳动节”设在其它日期。

美国：Labor Day 设在9月第一个星期一

加拿大：Labour Day / Fête du Travail 设在9月第一个星期一

日本：勤労感謝の日 设在11月23日

新西兰：Labour Day 设在10月第四个星期一

澳大利亚：Labour Day / Eight Hours Day / May Day 名称和具体日期都因地而异
